The Costs and subsidies section collects the price data that a household in Germany needs before ordering a kitchen, booking a Handwerker or planning a renovation in Munich, Berlin or Hamburg. The articles use the annual figures of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Die Moderne Küche (AMK), the hourly rate surveys reported by the Deutsche Handwerks Zeitung, the construction price index of the Statistisches Bundesamt (Destatis) and the published cost tables of German contractors, always with the year of the figure. The same section explains the KfW loan 159, the KfW grant 455-B and the BAFA grants for individual measures, including the percentage, the cap per dwelling and the application rule that the grant must be requested before work starts.
